I have long, medium-length hair. It seems to get thinner with age. I'm not sure if this conditioner does what it promises, but I can say that it takes care of my hair very well and I didn't have to use it much. I was able to run a wide toothed comb through my hair fairly easily after application with minimal hair pulling. The smell was pretty subtle and I couldn't figure out exactly what it smelled like. It doesn't appear to have many "natural" ingredients. I think $20 is a little pricey for the 8 ounce bottle you get, but it's a decent conditioner.
