I like to think of myself as pretty crafty and detailed when I do projects. Having said that, this paper drove my ocd crazy. This wall is roughly 73 sq ft and took me about 4 hours to put up by myself.1) The grid on the back is helpful for cutting straight lines but it doesn’t matter when the print itself is crooked on the paper. It made it hard and frustrating to match up the patterns so don’t expect to cut straight and be able to keep the line straight.2) This is not a straight match lineup. I took a picture of how much overlap I had in order to maintain a consistent pattern; from .5 to .75 of an inch. Most of this probably had to do with the alignment being off. I was NOT expecting to spend additional time matching it up the pattern and ensuring I maintained the overlap for the length of the wall (8’ ceilings). I just happened to read the directions (photo included) that says to include an inch on both sides. negating the fact that it’s a straight match and teetering on the line of false advertisement.On the plus side, the paper was thicker than I expected and the adhesion is superb. Now that it’s done, I love it. I won’t say that I didn’t curse most of the time and seriously start to question my design choices. So long as you don’t look too closely, it’s hard to notice the imperfections.So bottom line, would I buy this brand again? No. I’d either find a brand that is legitimately a straight match as it would help make putting pieces together SOOOOO much easier or go for a pattern piece.
