This was easy to put on my controller. I watched a video that I believe was part of the instructions in the box that explained how to remove the other cover and put this one on. It was very easy and only took a few minutes. I love the colors, although I would love it even more if it was green too. This makes it easy to find MY Controller in the controller drawer.
