I used this a few weeks after having septoplasty and turbinate reduction was told I would need my glasses either I can't wear it or I have to tape it shut so that there is no pressure. For this purpose at least, this device worked. However, I have to say that that bit of suds left on your forehead is an absolute SPONGE for oil and sweat, I always felt so gross after wearing it for an hour or so. I wrapped the whole thing in gauze and that seemed to help somewhat, but overall it was uncomfortable (apart from the already uncomfortable recovery!).
