This works great on my old mahogany piano with cherry finish
Good polish to hide scratches My pecan bookshelves have been moved 16 times over the years. When they were new I looked for any markings. Scratches don't bother me anymore. I cover them with a cotton swab, let them dry, and then buff them with clear lemon oil. The wood has naturally aged and darkened over the years. Works just as well as my antique mahogany, cherry and golden oak furniture. Leaves a beautiful blended shine where my grandfather's hands rubbed a stain on his chair years ago. The only wood I haven't used it on is teak and cedar. The scratches are not visible.
