Review on Saucony Zealot Iso 3 Women's Running Shoe by Robin Henderson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The unusual lace design caused problems, although it is good for supination.

I'm new to running and need a cheap pair of running shoes that will solve my supination problem. I was leaning towards that anyway, but my right leg was particularly bad after breaking a bad ankle. The shoes fit well for that. My main issue with the shoes is the weird vinyl lacing tabs they have instead of the standard eyelets. It seemed like I could never get the lacing comfortable and always had to adjust. Then, after about 3 months of use, one of the vinyl tongues just ripped out of the shoe. I don't lace too tight so it shouldn't be a problem, it's just that the dumb tongue wasn't sewn on well enough. For what it's worth I'm not a long distance runner, although I run about 5 days a week my pace is pretty slow so I don't think I was too rough on them.

Pros
  • 3mm EVERUN outsole construction for an energetic run
Cons
  • New competition is here
