Non abbrasive on my review.

You can get this pretty tight against skin without causing any abrasion or pain. It's thick as well, which makes it easier for beginners to start working with.

Pros

Great for it's intended use.

Cons

The softness of the rope may not provide enough friction or grip for certain activities, such as climbing or hauling heavy objects
