When I first got this it didn't fit my KitchenAid driveshaft. It seemed that the inside diameter of this whisk was too small. I worked with it for a few minutes and it gradually turned on until it finally fitted. I was a bit concerned at the time that it would partially get stuck on the wave. Not sure what initially bothered the fit as I didn't see anything peeling. Now it fits and seems to work. When the mixer is running, the beater hits the side of the bowl slightly every few turns, but it cleans the bottom of the bowl well and I don't want to lift the print head anymore, so I'm just living with it. This can be an issue as my bowl is slightly out of round, but I didn't have this issue with my previous (enamel) whisk.
