We installed a backup camera in the back or in the camper and thought it would be fun if we could turn it on and look behind the trailer when we're inside. It was a bit of fiddling, but the trailer already has 12 volt wiring so all that was left to do was split the video signal and route it to that screen in the camper. I won't go into details but the result is really cool. Now, in a caravan in the woods, during a storm or just when it's cold outside, we can quickly look outside with a flick of the wrist. Switch. The screen has two video input wires, so we will consider adding a "side camera" to the trailer in the future. The screen now lives up to my expectations and it was an inexpensive way to add the utility of a trailer backup camera. The screen comes with two mounting options; Glass suction cup and surface mount. For our purposes I mounted it to the wall and once I route and hide the cables it definitely looks like high tech magic. PS: I accidentally installed the camera upside down, so don't mind the upside down dogs.
