Review on 🧔 Philips Norelco BeardTrimmer 7300 with Vacuum Technology and Adjustable Length Settings (Model # QT4070/41) by Tania Mendoza

I was looking for an electric shaver that would allow me to trim my facial hair short enough to be considered stubble and keep it that way. The stubble comb that comes with the razor sucks. It's a brittle plastic that will bend when you put it on your face. No matter what trim level you're trying to achieve, it's never going to be exact. You'll also scratch your face if you turn it down to lower settings because the blade is sitting right against your skin. So this device actually offers very little protection. The kit included another comb for long hair (beard). This worked slightly better to protect my face as the space between the sides of the comb where the razor sits was smaller so there was less chance of scratching the skin. However, whenever I tried to maneuver at any angle (jaw, chin, even around the lip) there was enough clearance between the comb to put my skin in contact with the razor and I got a very close shave. Wanted to return this and get my money back but neither Revain nor Philips make it easy to return this for a refund. Well, from 50 dollars. In the end I chose Conaire iStubble and I really liked it. Much easier to maneuver, better trimmer protection, cuts hair much shorter and closer to what I think is real stubble. The device is much better, so I say it's better to choose it and skip Philips Norelco. Update February 14, 2014: The return process for this product is not easy. You cannot return to Revain as it is a personal care product. If you try to send it back to Phillips with their "45-day money-back guarantee" you will first have to wait 3 weeks "to ensure all facial hair has grown" and you can fully test the trimmer. I then had to make two separate paperwork requests to send this back because customer service completely forgot the first time. They sent me the return documentation on the LAST day of the return deadline. I sent it anyway, paid my shipping cost and got no response from them. As I must reiterate, do not purchase this product.
