I bought an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows and each of them had major problems with the analog sticks. I sent 2 of these back and then the 3rd was worse than the other 2. In the end I was only compensated for it. Then I decided to try this XBONE controller, although it doesn't work wirelessly with a PC I figured I'd just grab a long cable and use it like that. Analog sticks can be just as bad as 360 controllers, right? That's the way it is. you suck You center at 35%, then at 55%, then at 40%. Somewhere near. Basically, in any PC game, if you drive and release the joystick, you keep spinning. The same goes for an FPS game or a third-person shooter. That's ridiculous. My very old SIXAXIS connected to the same computer is back to 50% on all axes on both analog sticks. I just don't like using the sketchy drivers required for this PS3 controller to emulate a 360 controller. Most PC games are made for a 360 controller, so if you want to use a gamepad in a game, you'll need to use (or emulate) it. ) This one. concluded that M$ was selling junk. I've heard people try to tell me this is how these gamepads are supposed to be. Well, if that's true, then why doesn't everyone behave the same way? Sometimes the left stick comes almost back to center and sometimes the right stick is centered at 35%, sometimes at 50%, or somewhere in between. Then the left stick doesn't return to center on the next one while the right stick has all the trouble and doesn't center properly. Even if it was a little tight, I could live with that, let's say in the 45% to 55% range. (where 0% is the maximum left value and 100% is the maximum right value). At least then I could use the huge deadzone in the game or use DXTWEAK or something and at least make the thing usable. But once it hits $36 and the next time I let go of the stick it hits 55% making it impossible in certain circumstances, especially in racing games. I don't understand why one of the richest companies in the world can't make a decent gamepad. I mean, they probably cost five dollars to make and they sell them for almost $60. Do they still have to skimp on quality control and use junk potentiometers?
