Review on PSKOOK Survival Paracord Parachute Fishing by Paarvin Freedman

Burned but redeemed?

I was really looking forward to this. It arrived damaged. I don't have time to return it but it disappointed me. Edit: It was burned in three places along its length, but I found enough unburned length to wrap my friend's Schrade knife handle, which looks pretty good for my second try. I can attest that the tinder strand just won't burn, but the rest melted neatly, just how I needed it. It wears but not as crazy as I expected, it didn't come undone and the wrap is nice and tight. Also, the company accidentally contacted me today and offered to apologize and send a new cable? I'll have to reread the email, but if it's actually about customer service, my estimate could change significantly. Edit: They sent a new rope and it's perfect.

Pros
  • Not rigid, but flexible like regular paracord because our lifelines are made of soft strands. It is very good for DIY projects. You can make any type of paracord material with our new survival paracord, new fire launcher bracelet, etc. This will be a brand new fire launcher kit for any emergencies
Cons
  • Available in black only
