These films are very bright and vivid colors. The stripes are long and wide, which means you can wear the same design more than once. For best results, I start with a clear base coat. After it dries I cut the foil to fit under each nail. Then I apply a thin layer of foil glue to the nail bed and wait until it becomes transparent. Then I put the foil on the nail and start applying the transfer to the nail with my tool. After everyone has adequately covered the entire area of the nail, I quickly peel them off, leaving the design behind. If there are places that didn't migrate, I just repeat the above steps for those specific areas. Finally, I seal my design with a quick drying clear top coat. As an alternative I have used different designs in addition to regular polish and also used multiple designs together. Very cool!
