I just found out about safety razors when I read that around 1 million women are talking about sustainable products. As a woman I am very shocked that I have never heard of them before. I see little to no reason why in 20 years of shaving I have spent thousands of dollars on disposable razors. Anyway, I ordered this razor because I thought it looked good in the picture. It's true, even my husband commented on how nice it is and it's not his usual MO. I've used it a few times. I was grateful that it came with multiple razors as the ones I ordered didn't show up in the same box. I felt this product shaved my armpits much better than the disposable product. However, I was very excited when I shaved my legs for the first time because some of my family members were fundamentally convinced that this thing would cut me to pieces. It's not like this. If you're like me and people are trying to convince you it's dangerous, it's not, I mean maybe if you're a weirdo who presses hard on your skin while you shave (stop doing it right away), but for most. no. It's okay, they're crazy. The second time since I'd supposedly shaved my whole life wrong according to my husband, I shaved my hair, then my hair (apparently I had to do it anyway) was straight as a baby's bottom. I will never go back to disposables.
