We had a bark collar for our 9 lb Maltipoo and while it worked for a while it seemed to lose its sensitivity. Therefore, I was looking for a training collar that I could control and that had adjustable levels for tone, vibrate and shock. This collar has fit the bill. While it is a little big it still is manageable for our small dog. I have only needed to use the tone feature to control his barking - stops him cold. It looks like I will never need to use the shock feature which is good because I really don’t like it. But when he was barking through his bark collar I sure thought he needed a wake up. Turns out that the consistent and reliable use of tone has been perfect.
