I bought this in November 2017 to replace the original lever which broke after 10 years. This replacement lasted until mid-April 2019 when it broke in the same place. I suspect this is due to poor Audi design form causing fatigue fractures at weak points. However, the OEM part is made from a more durable cast metal than the Chinezieum injection molded part that it is. This part will last long enough if you're looking for a quick and cheap fix, but I'd go with an OEM if you're planning to keep this car, otherwise expect it to only last a few years before failing too. .
