Wobbly, cheap and poorly made

Unfortunately, something made of solid wood is no guarantee that it will be stable. A prime example is this. It seemed very attractive until it arrived when I discovered a few issues. The wood is untreated, the edges are open (not milled). Basically, the manufacturer cut out some squares of plywood, quickly cut the wood for the legs, and then sent it straight into the box. It really needs a coat of something to stand up to normal use.2. You need to start threading each lower leg into the thigh very precisely to give the appearance of a single leg. I tried for a good half hour and then gave up. All the lower tapered legs are at slightly different angles, causing the table to wobble.3. The set did not come with the advertised rubber pads. (Wobbly again).4. The legs are darker than the tabletop, creating a strange mix vibe. I knew $30 for a solid wood end table was too good to be true, but I'm after a cookie. It's cheap, flimsy, pretty ugly, and I'm sure it won't stand the test of time. I decided to keep it as a project. I will make a slight modification with wood glue and make two smaller tables out of it. BUT, if you're not ready to get creative and turn it into something that it isn't, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.
