Terrible reception. If you don't point the device directly at Roku, it most likely won't work. Any slight difference in the (geometric) plane that the remote sits in relation to your Roku device will slow down reception between the remote and the receiver. My Roku is perched on a mantel, and even the low height of the couch interferes with reception when trying to change channels. Cheaply made, not to mention that it has a very short working distance. This thing can also have a wire attached to your Roku. Any distance over 10-12 feet is useless. Spend a few extra dollars and buy a real Roku remote. The only pluses of this device are the buttons for Sling, Netflix, Youtube, Prime, Raido, and Hulu. It's handy to have a button for Youtube and Sling. The rest of the remote control is junk.
