This was a gift for my grandfather who is 100 and enjoys listening to music and baseball games so the fact that he had AM and FM made a difference to me :-) they sit a little tight at the back of the head so if you have a wide neck or head look elsewhere but other than that the headphones sound great and make a great gift for people who love commercial radio and don't just have a cell phone or MP3 player. This is an easy to use device.
