Review on 🧵 Doodlin' Around with Images Stitchery Design: The Doodler Stitch Frame by Denise Davis

I've been using this frame for three months and was happy with it until yesterday when I got it noticed that one of the handles stopped working. Of course, the metal insert holding the screw was missing. I know it was at the beginning because I read and checked the reviews. I ordered a replacement set of 4 pens from etsy for $9 plus $4 shipping. I love the frame but the grip failure at this price point is ridiculous. The FWIW frame arrived safe and sound, connects easily and looks great. It sits flat on both sides. The tape you sew your canvas onto is soft and wide, the best I've seen. UPDATE: When the replacement pens arrived (immediately), I realized the real problem. One of the four bolts on the frame is much larger than the others and I believe this grip does not have a metal bushing. Replacement handles are designed for smaller screws. I sent an email to the address on the invoice but it was not delivered because the address was not found. I sent a message via etsy and am waiting for a reply.
