I only used it for a week but it changed my life. My partner threw bags of our dog's poop into our bin (not the bin) and the place started to smell. I attached this filter to the lid of our trash can and it completely eliminated the odor. The only time you smell something is when you open the jar and even then the smell doesn't seem that bad. I think I'm in love. * It fell off the first two times I attached it to the lid of the trash can. I think it's because I tried to stick it on the rounded/uneven part of the lid. I moved it to another location and now it's stuck there for a few days. I also open and close the lid very gently. If you slam the lid of the bin hard, the filter may fall out.
