I love these boots! They are perfect for anyone like myself who has always loved the look of Doc Martens but never wanted to pull the trigger on the hefty price tag. It’s so hard to find boots to fit a big footed plus size girl. Generally if boots fit my foot then it’s way to tight on my ankle or calf. These fit perfectly. I will however dissuade any one from buying these if they are hoping for a heavy duty boot. These are light use only. If you are an adult with a mildly goth aesthetic then buy these! But if you are hoping to backpack throughout Europe, or hike the Appalachian trail do not buy these boots. If you need boots to wear at work wear you stand or walk a lot do not buy these boots. However for my office job these are perfect. I plan to buy the purple pair too.Edit: I bought the purple pair and they did not disappoint. They make me so happy just to put on. I feel so confident with them on. As I mostly wear black anyways they add a much needed punch of color to my outfit, without being outrageously bright purple. I get so many compliments on them.Update: I am on my third pair. Not due to wear and tear or anything bad. But because I am such a huge fan I keep buying them in every color. I have black, purple, and pink. I love all of them. They are comfortable, the black pair I have had for six months and wear fairly often have held up very well. Even if they were to fall apart, for the price, fit I would buy them over and over again.
