I cook a lot of soup and when I bought an electric pressure cooker I was wondering how I would cool the inner pot. I am 80 years old and have been making soup for a few days. I was going to use a plate to cover the pressure cooker insert but this is a great product and it fits the pot. It's very durable, cleans well (just made my first pot of soup) and goes well with the pot. If you have an electric pressure cooker and want to store something without using another container, I recommend this lid.
