This knife is sharp and the best I've ever used. I have a drawer full of KitchenAid and many other big brands, none have worked as well as this one. In addition, it is very wide, which makes it suitable for all types of scrubs. When I make a salad, I peel the carrots, then I put them on a cutting board and use this peeler to cut the carrots into thin tiers, then I stack the carrots and use a knife to cut them to the size of the salad. I've peeled potatoes, potatoes and aubergines with this vegetable peeler, it's all been the easiest time I've ever peeled vegetables.
