I bought this when the kids were fighting over the office chair as a bed. I had to put it in the corner of the office. Nice to look at. Babies LOVE it! They slept on different platforms and in alcoves. The kitty loves the "roof" platform and the 14+ pound guy loves the "balcony". He retires to a "ground floor apartment" when the kitten gets too much for him. I ordered an extra pillow based on a review but I don't think it's necessary. Everything is soft and very comfortable. Big Guy 14# fits very well. good size The kitten naturally dangles from the edge as it insists on stretching out to sleep. Durable as the paws fight on it and the kitten jumps onto the roof. I wish I had bought it years ago. It's good if you have an older cat that no longer climbs or sleeps in a scratching post, but still needs a space of their own.
