I really like these lights because they are so bright, but they could use some design changes to make them function better when installed in an eve location.The Good:They’re very bright, very easily mounted and reasonably priced. They seem to be holding up to all the rain we have gotten but they are eve mounted (hanging upside down) so are well protected from pouring rain.The Bad:The included instructions say these lights can be mounted to a wall or an eve, but the truth is, based on their current design they are best mounted to a wall. Of course, I needed an eve mount… If they are eve mounted as they are on my house, the lights cannot be angled up enough to cover a larger area. I have a smaller area to cover so their brightness compensates for the area I need to cover.One other problem with eve mounting is the motion sensor stalk is too short to allow them to clear the light fixture and allow the full range and sensitivity they should have. So far I have been using them in the permanent on mode when I need them. I would definitely like it better if I could trigger the lights to come on from a further distance.
