I honestly tested the new formula. And it's terrible. I have been using the original formula for many years, my dentist sold it to me. It got rid of a lot of gum problems and was a really healthy product. The company then switched to a cheaper version, diluting the original ingredients with xylitol and more water and liquid, and my dentist said it didn't work as well. Xylitol is actually a sugar. Imagine adding sugar alcohol to a toothpaste designed to remove sugar. And the drying effects of alcohol. Later it can even turn out to be toxic, like the triclosan that was mixed into everything in the 90's. There was no need to spoil the excellent original recipe. No customer asked for it. The company just wanted more profit. So diluted with chemicals, thinned the foundation to use more with each brush, and switched tubes to keep more of the wasted product. And at the same time they increased the price. Bad bad bad. I tried it, it didn't work. Back to something natural.
