Review on 🐬 DIMENSIONS Needlecrafts Stamped Cross Stitch: Captivating Dolphin Delight by Shantel Griffin

I bought this kit and several others to teach my young daughters how to cross stitch. They are very young to learn and I knew this set would be a challenge. Pros: The design is simple, the instructions are clear and easy for children to read. Disadvantages: X are too small. I've been embroidering for 33 years now and I've found it difficult to evenly embroider those tiny cross stitches. For beginners, the crosses should be larger. The eye of the needle is small and difficult to thread. Finally (and I don't think this complaint is limited to these kits, as I've noticed with every kit I've bought over the years) the thread is terrible. It is very easy to tie and tear. My daughter lost the entire first row of stitches through a knot. We will select a new thread of similar colors from my stash of quality threads, not so flimsy and fragile.
