I have a very bad habit of falling asleep while using the iPad Air (first model). I broke the screen twice and it fell off my lap and gouged my eye out twice! This is why I go crazy over the charging cables because they bend at weird angles and then stop working. My latest achievement was the iPad falling off the bed onto the wooden floor while I was sleeping. This time the tip of the charging cable broke off in the charging port! Two computer techs removed the tip for an hour, but after that I couldn't charge the iPad. The cable didn't stay in. I've been looking everywhere for some kind of wireless charging stand. The next thing I could find was this wonderful product! I simply removed the backing from the receiver board and plugged the tip into my iPad's charging port. Fingers crossed I placed the iPad on the wireless charging stand and it worked! I am so happy that my iPad is working again!
