Summary: Does the job and is cheap. However, it was the cheaper of the two non-BMW options I found. My main gripe with this bushing is that the o-ring in the bushing, which is designed to grip the spark plug ceramic, was too tight. When I tried to unplug the outlet, it slipped off the extension cord. This was easily fixed by using a small pick (like a toothpick) to pry out the o-ring. Of course now the plug won't stay in the socket when you try to pull the old one out. I ended up using my flexible gripper (I have no idea what its actual nomenclature is) to pull out the old plugs. You could probably also solve this problem by leaving the o-ring in place and tapeing the extensions to the bushing. This can get quite annoying when you have to use different combinations of extension cords to replace all your plugs. The outlet might not slip off all types of extension cords, but I used a professional DIY one, which I imagine is probably one of the most popular. Sockets used by DIY enthusiasts. However, I did not use the more expensive version of this tool. He can do that too. Again, I have no complaints. It got the job done cheaply and any BMW mechanic at home would probably appreciate it.
