I love this yarn. It isn't twisted tightly, which causes it to "pull around". In my experience, you shouldn't over-tighten or over-knit. Roving is not like ordinary yarn that is twisted tightly, it is very loose, fluffy and delicate until you knit it. There will be a pill if you rub hard. There are not many pills for hats, scarves, hoods. I wouldn't make gloves or a sweater out of it. I've done quite a bit with it and when I had a quality issue Bernat was quick to fix and replace my stuff. My quality issue was changing the gauge of the yarn when knitting, this is uncommon and they will replace it if you contact them (you can find their contact details on their website). I've added a photo of a hat I've knitted several times with this yarn. This is a chunky hat and has held up well to knitting. The hat is still in use today, 3 years later. I have also made baby pants for my baby and they have held up well so far.
