There are a multitude of earplugs available, each of which has a significantly longer operating time at a significantly lower cost. In addition, the ear cushions on these earplugs help to muffle any unwanted sounds. However I have to confess that I found the inserts to be a great deal more practical than the plugs in my particular situation. After getting acclimated to it for a while, the sound will no longer strike you as odd, even if it does first. Nonetheless, plugs are the way to go for bass and sausage fans who want the best experience.
