I love these little things ! I originally bought these to clean hard water build up in toilet bowls but have since found many other uses. They clean fine china sinks, bathtubs, etc. I've also used them to remove years of buildup from a glass shower door in a home we bought. I had no etching or scratches. These stones are also great for cast iron. I was able to remove burnt deposits and shells of life that I thought were destroyed. I've used them to scrape grease/oil from the outside of bakeware and pans and they work wonders when it comes to removing charcoal from cooking grates. Please note that pumice cannot be used for non-stick coatings! I took an old sheet of glass and used it to remove the heavy layers of hard dirt. Check your manufacturer's warranty, it may void it, but this stove was much older than this date and it turned out to be beautiful with no scratches or etches on the glass. I'm sure there are many more uses I have yet to discover.
