I bought mine for my desktop and have had it for about a month now. I can tell it's wearing out a bit - I have to push the button hard to get it to shift and it seems to drain quicker (maybe 3-4 hours). But then again, I use it almost every day all day because I keep it on my bedside table at night too. It's a great item so if you're looking for a decent cheap fan I'd recommend it. I'm considering buying a second one so mine doesn't wear out.
