Review on Comfortable And Stylish FITORY Men'S Sandals With Arch Support And Adjustable Buckle Straps by Robert Aliraqi

Fine for casual wear but won't hold up like the genuine article

Because of a botched foot surgery, the ball of my left foot inflames easily and I need to distribute pressure away from it when I walk to avoid discomfort. Birkenstock sandals do this perfectly. But they're expensive. So I tried this far less expensive alternative. They have lumps in all the right places, and they do distribute pressure away from the ball of my foot. The footbed is considerably softer than that in genuine Birkenstocks, so I'm not sure how long the support will last.In the month or so I've owned these sandals, I wear them about one day a week. Already the suede on the footbed is starting to crumble off around the edges. The sole already shows strong signs of wear. Also, the sueded leather straps are thin; the hole where I've fastened one buckle has torn slightly from normal use, and so that sandal is slightly looser than the other now.I wear my Birkenstocks pretty much every day during the warm months. I rotate through a few pair. I had hoped that these would be a good alternative, but it's clear that these aren't going to last nearly as long as genuine Birkenstocks. But if you're looking for that Birkenstock look on a budget, and you're wearing them only casually, then these would be a fine inexpensive alternative. If you count on your Birks as I do, then don't skimp -- given their durability, you'll at least break even and might even be better off in the long run.
