My little one is 6-7 years old so I bought a size 7 (yellow) at first hoping he would get a bit bigger but they were HUGE. So I took a size 6 (green) and he still has plenty of room in it even with a big toe. What I didn't expect was that the difference in elevation between 6 and 7 would be so different. It is about an inch different in height from the top of the sole to the top of the boot. I wanted a taller boot, the ones we have from Kat and Jack are too short and he always has water in his boots. 6 is still taller than the C&J models, but I would have preferred a slightly taller boot.
