What a disappointment with the Alphabet Buddies set! The painted images of the animals in this set do not represent the true scale of each of them! The cover of the bag depicts a large lion with a tiger, the height of which reaches the lion's eyes. The frog and the bird are much smaller and the unicorn is almost the size of a lion. NOT SO! The frog and bird are much larger, with the frog's tip level with the lion's nose. The bird and frog are proportional as shown in the cover picture. The top of the unicorn is about level with the lion's head below the mane. The most disappointing animal is the tiger. The cat is much smaller, its head is at the level of the snapdragon and it is looking to the right instead of to the left. Worst of all, the lion is very heavy and may fall over when placed on a shelf. So I put the lion's head on the unicorn like it's about to be eaten by a lion! The frog is the coolest creature! If only the proportions were as advertised!
