Bought for soap molds, not baking. I've cold processed, melted, poured and whipped soap with this mold and it's great. The animal design is deep enough to see them in the final product and the kids love them. The cavities are nice and deep too, and there is enough soap in them. They hold the heat well and the soap doesn't stick to the molds, even the opened one popped out after a day or so. They are a bit flimsy and need to be "stretched" to smooth out the filling. Also, make sure you place them on a cutting board or cardboard box if you plan on moving them after watering. Overall great shape.
