I received RAM which actually had 8GB of memory. I checked the flash drive connected to my computer and it still only showed 8GB. They also sent a "free gift" in the form of an unwrapped flash drive and a set of cheap headphones. The word "gift" was hastily written on the packaging. decided to test the flash drive on an old laptop to see if it worked and we couldn't even find its location on the computer but I'm guessing the other 8 of 16GB was on that flash drive . Make sure you buy from Amazon and not 3rd party! Or better yet, just go to a computer store.
