Our ancient dachshund has just gone completely blind. It got stuck in corners and behind doors, so we had to do something to contain it. Since he's mostly asleep these days, we didn't need anything big. This is great for our purpose. We assembled it with 3 panels on each side resulting in a 3ft x 3ft handle. These are universal wired panels and connectors so you can customize them to your liking. You can give yourself more space if you have a wall that can act as a side. That is, make a three-faced handle out of all the panels and press it against the wall. The hammer that comes with the kit is not good and is not needed. That's what you'd expect from a toy set for children. When joining panels in connectors, make sure they are fully inserted; You should hear a click when properly seated.
