I've managed to connect three of these to Wink Hub 2 and the connectors have been working (mostly unplugged) for weeks. The trick I found is to carefully follow the instructions that accompany these plugs! Keep instructions! Additionally, you may need to press the button more than three times quickly when attempting to connect these ports to the Wink Hub 2. After that, these ports will appear as a regular power button or port. They were easy to rename. I placed these plugs in front of a surge protector that powered: a WiFi hotspot, an alarm clock, a large surround sound receiver, a set-top box, and a Blu-ray player. This plug is great for turning everything on and off. The range was better than I thought. I bought a few other Z-Wave Plus switches and outlets and couldn't install them to create a stable mesh network, but these plugs still worked. My vacation home is in a sprawling HOA area in a country where other people probably don't use the 900mhz radio very often, so that probably helps a lot. This is great if you don't want to replace an outlet with a built-in Z-Wave Plus outlet.
