Bought as a Christmas present for our daughter when her other 'over the door' jamb broke. I have one of these daughters who loves to shop for shoes and they are always on sale. So there is a way for many to just throw them in the closet. This rack held them ALL. And unlike others we've seen that are made of metal and plastic, this one is all metal. She's not a typical 7/8 shoe size, she's like her mother with a bigger foot. This attitude holds them all surprisingly well. Much better than their previous rack where they had to be WEIGHTED onto inverted U-shaped hangers. Her shoes were too big for her so they never matched and there always seemed to be a lot of shoes on the shelf. No longer. Your shoes fit perfectly on a sturdy stand. And the great thing is that it's so sturdy it won't rock back and forth on the back of your door. It hangs smoothly on the door, not even attached with screws. This is ideal as we are renting and don't want to put holes in the doors. I would recommend this rack to anyone who wants to organize their shoes. I have been shopping for months and without paying "an arm and a leg" for one of these expensive frames I feel like it was worth the money. I definitely couldn't find the same thing in any of the big stores for the price and quality I got with this one.
