If you need a bunch of backup drives these will do, but not the first ones I would pick. They work, load fast and all files work as soon as you start the drive. My main issue is that the product listing claims to have AT LEAST 8MB/s write speed per transfer, but when transferring files as small as 2GB, not only does the transfer take 6 minutes, it never reaches 8MB/s. The attached screenshot shows a transfer which as you can see never exceeded 7.3MB/s. Not a waste of time, but also not something I would have on hand for quick transfers. This would be best for backing up files if you don't need them immediately, overnight, or whatever.
