Let me tell you about this amazing color. I have dyed my hair purple twice in the last 6 months. It first turned purple after about a week and then almost completely disappeared after about 6 weeks, which is to be expected. The second time it turned dull gray in just a few days and looked awful for 2 weeks. I decided I didn't have money to spend on a repaint anytime soon so I bought this product hoping it would give me a few more weeks before I needed to visit the salon. I didn't expect the color to be bright and saturated for weeks! I'm 4 weeks old and it's starting to fade a bit but it's still a very light purple and not purple or grey. It was easy to use and didn't smell terrible. This product is the holy grail of semi-permanent color. The only downside I have to mention is that it will absolutely mess up your sink and shower. My sink is white again but even after 2 acetone scrubs my shower floor is still purple. I'm not exactly sure how to prevent this, but it's definitely a pain. Photos show that I repainted the day after death, 3 weeks after death.
