I recently bought a Fire 4K HDTV Stick for my Sony TV. Unfortunately, my TV's HDMI ports are on the far left of the TV and are also notched. Because of this notch, it was not possible to connect the flash drive directly to gen TV without using the dongal that Revain provides with the flash drive. So the stick worked great, but it was sticking out the side of the TV and hanging down. Aesthetically it wasn't perfect. This 90 degree MF HDMI worked great. Firstly, I think this is a more reliable solution than the dongal that comes with the joystick. Second, I now have a flash drive completely hidden behind the TV. That solves my aesthetic objection. So far very satisfied.
