I don't know why people say they run small in reviews. I read the reviews and after seeing a lot of reviews about them running small I ordered a medium size ( I'm usually average in leggings but when I want them to be snug I usually order small) of mine I think they are great. They are not tight enough for me and my legs are very fat! But they are very comfortable, they just don't give the desired lifting effect, because they don't fit.
