Everyone is complaining about the screws that are kept in the drawer. They are NOT a failure. The piece of metal on the back of the seat is the LOCKING SCREW. If the bolt does not go into the hole easily, take a screwdriver and slowly thread this screw into the seat back and try slow to get the bolt in until the locking bolt snaps in. It works just like wooden furniture (you know those twist and lock things you hammer into pre-drilled holes) You didn't put that bolt in the back of the chair to prevent that screw it in. It is needed to make your high chair stronger. This is my second chair. Gave the first one to my niece. Mine other niece liked it so much that she bought one for Christmas. The first one went off without a hitch, this one required a bit of research. That's when I found the locking screws. They just curl up a little and need some adjustment. This is the best chair for the price. This is NOT SHIT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
