Too bad I can't get it to work

I really want this case. It's cheap, it's USB 3, it's even blue. What more do you want? Well, how about making it work, for starters? I've tried three different drives in this thing, all to no avail. Each drive works with a different case that I have, so I know that's not the issue. I've tried every USB port on my computer. There are no dice. Drives are not showing up in Disk Management or File Explorer. Windows recognizes that I have something plugged in, but it doesn't show anything. "Maybe he lacks the energy," I thought. I checked the hull. There's nothing else to connect other than the micro-B USB port on the case. "Maybe I need to reinstall some USB drivers," I thought. Checked device manager. Everything worked perfectly, even hidden devices. Nothing unknown, nothing suspicious. Maybe I should sacrifice three virgins on the new moon, sing Neil Diamond backwards and play the zither, I finally thought. I briefly considered such an attempt, but then quickly changed my mind because I realized that the logistics alone cannot be managed. Once. ONCE something appeared briefly, then explorer got blocked and stayed there until I had to force close it. Or maybe I REALLY need these three virgins to help me. At the moment I'm stuck in a dead end. I sent an inquiry to ORICO, but since the page is in Chinese(?), I don't expect an immediate response.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • old
