I had an issue with my standard PS4 drive making strange noises and saying the drive wasn't recognized in the main menu. After doing a little research, I decided it was best to just swap out the drive. After figuring out what drive/PCB I have (this is important! Google it!) I did a search and found this Nextec drive is exactly what I need. It had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. Everything arrived well packaged. The exchange was pretty easy. If you have experience repairing PCs/Electronics this should be easy. My only advice is to be careful with the connectors as they are a bit more fragile than standard PCs. Once I put everything back together and turned the PS4 back on, everything worked great! No more trouble!
