Review on 📱 OtterBox Alpha Glass Screen Protector for iPad Mini (5th Generation) - Crystal Clear by Franz Esquivel

This is a typical OtterBox product: solid and of good quality. I'm not a techie and I HATE putting these protective cases on phones, iPads, etc. I usually get people at the cell phone store who do this. But I tried my luck with this screen protector and was (mostly) successful. The protector contains clear instructions. The first step is to clear the screen as best you can. The kit includes a dry wipe and an alcohol wipe for this purpose. I did according to the instructions. Then it's time to put on the right protection. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: You have a chance to do so. I was pretty good but still a millimeter behind. It's okay and probably unnoticeable to others, but the profile is thick enough that you can't adjust it once it's in place. This is another reason to clear the screen beforehand. A small speck of dust was left on my screen, forming a bubble. Again, it's imperceptible when the iPad is on, but you can see it when it's off, especially if you know where to look. This is not a problem with the profile itself which is strong and durable. These are user errors. So make sure to focus when you (a) clean the screen and (b) apply the screen protector because you have a chance to get it right. But once the protection is in place, it's not even noticeable, but still offers quality protection from OtterBox.
